I offer women a process of recovering and retaining their well-being through somatic-based exercise. Including Pilates, Yoga, Strength Training and self-massage. As a movement educator, I break movements down into bite-sized pieces ( skills). and then teach them sequentially and then integrate them into everyday active functions.
Our bodies are like computers, they need their movement software updated in order to function optimally without aches and pains.

A Little Taster
I grew up swimming, skiing and running around. Being active was my medicine. After spending ten years riding horses professionally I fell in love with Yoga and Massage Therapy. I opened the first Yoga Studio and Holistic Health Center in Mahone Bay 30 years ago called The Purple Iris.
Over the past three decades, I have studied and certified in PIlates, Somatics, Myofascial Slings and a variety of somatic movement disciplines.
My curiosity has been to understand how something works, break it down and teach a body how to accomplish a movement skill.
I love teaching. I love sharing the wonder of our bodies to people who think they are too old to change.
The truth is our brains and bodies with the right information can learn as long as we are alive.'
